VBS Design
Straight blade edges can push tissue aside rather than cutting it once they begin to dull. This is why we chose to use curved blades on the VBS - to force tissue to cut rather than slide out of the way.
The beveled ferrule decreases resistance and slightly offsets entry and exit wound channels
Even heads made from high quality materials will snap off at the corners, so we made the corners of each blade blunt to eliminate the weak point.

VBS Materials & OPTIONS
Ferrules are machined from Grade 5 Titanium (100, 125) and hardened steel (125, 150). Blades are hardened 440c, treated to 55 RHC.
Main blades available in 1", 1-1/8", and 1-1/2".
Secondary blades available in 0", 7/8", and 1-1/8".
440c blades will stay sharp through a game animal - but you can easily replace blades after use.
